1st Co. Governor's Foot Guard

Bandmaster (conductor and officer in charge of band), 1st Company, Governor's Foot Guard, 2019-present. The 1GFG is the oldest

continuously active military unit in the United States—founded in 1771. We provided a formal escort for the meeting of General

George Washington and le comte de Rochambeau in Hartford in 1780.

Since 2013 I have been an on-stage performer with Connecticut's oldest Gilbert & Sullivan theater company and oldest active

community theater company. Favorite G&S role: Lord Chancellor (Iolanthe), with Archibald Grosvenor (Patience) a close second.

I have also served as treasurer and president of the company.
